The following was posted to our Facebook page and also texted out to parents:

Morning Message:
"Has your child talked to you about the Morning Message? Each day, students listen to a message from the principal or vice principal to remind them of our weekly theme. This week, we focused on Learning Objectives. A learning objective is a specific, short term goal for student learning. It basically tells students what they will learn by the end of each lesson. John Hattie states: "Simply tell students what they will be learning before the lesson begins and you can raise student achievement as much as 27 percent!" Ask your child about the morning message and see if they remember our theme this week!"

Preschool Recycling Drive:
"Our preschool classes are doing a recycling drive next week! Please bring your Hi5 plastic bottles and cans to school. Red bins will be located by the flag pole on campus for daily collection! Thank you!"

Second Grade Market:
"It's that time again! The 2nd grade market will be on Friday, September 21st from 2:15-4:00pm in the cafeteria. We have cupcakes, snacks, games, and more. Prices start at 50 cents. Come on over and check out all the goods and services we provide. See you there!"
