7:30 am - 1:00 pm Wednesday
Students are welcome to browse or borrow, and use the search stations prior to the start of school and after school (except for Wednesdays). Students who do not have a computer or internet access at home are allowed to access KidBiz during these times also.
The library is closed when the librarian is off campus, when there are meetings or activities in the library or testing is occurring in the library.
Kindergarten and Grade 1 students may borrow one book and it remains in school; Grade 2 students may borrow 2 books; Grade 3 students may borrow 3 books; and Grades 4 to 6 may borrow up to four books at one time. Books are loaned for a two-week period. Overdue fines are not assessed. However, if a student has an overdue book for two months, borrowing privileges will be suspended until the overdue book is returned. A student who returns a library book that is missing pages, marked, torn, water damaged, or damaged making it unusable, the student will be responsible to replace or pay for a replacement book. All fees must be cleared by the end of each semester.
Each year, the library activities include Book Fairs, a Summer Reading program and participation in the Nene Book award.
